Objectives
The PhD programme in "Texts of Classical Antiquity and their Preservation" aims to train PhDs in the three areas of knowledge included in the degree in Classical Studies: Indo-European Linguistics, Greek Philology and Latin Philology, and provides its students with the knowledge and skills in the most modern techniques and methods of philological research needed to generate quality research and achieve international impact.
The training provided by the programme will prepare students both for the preparation of their doctoral thesis and for carrying out any other research in the field of philology and also in other fields that require knowledge of the foundations of Western culture and how to approach its analysis and interpretation from an up-to-date perspective.
